Elias and the Wizzkids kommen aus Schweden, aus Stockholm genauer gesagt. Und dieses kleine, nette Grüppchen macht hübsche Popmusik. Die könnte ans Lagerfeuer passen oder auch ans Ende des Jahres. Und wenn man sich nun gerade einen Schneesturm vorstellt, der vor dem Fenster tobt, während man im Warmen sitzt, erklingt ein “Happy New Year” und man muss schmunzeln. Berechenbar, aber schön. Die Kabelblume hat die vier Schweden einmal unter die Lupe genommen. Ein Erzähldochmal…

1. You’re looking at the right hand side, what do you see?

It’s my window. There is a bananaplant, a globe that still got USSR marked out, my nunchackas and some kind of palm trea.

2. Remembering your early youth, what was your most embarrassing moment?

I learned how to swim really late, so my whole class in school had to cancel a planed riverrafting trip just because I never took the swimcertificat.

3. From which childhood trauma are you still suffering?

Failed attempts on swimming was very tragic indeed. Besides that me and a friend accidently started a fire that burned down the bushes around the whole schoolyard. It’s still a secret.

4. Besides music, have got a college degree or any other education?

I am just one paper away from a bachelor in sociology… … some day… Bartending course, barista course, warehousetruck-driving license and driving license.

5. Are you afraid of an instrument?

Afraid? Hmm scalpell – does that count?

6. Which dance moves have you got? Do you dance at all?

If I dance! I do everything from lindy hop to MC Hammer style. More passion than technic though.

7. Which song makes you cry?

Mr. Big – “To be with you”, and any ballad with Mariah Carey.

8. What have you always got with you?

Regular stuff, cellphone, wallet, callendar, pencil, keys, snus and or cigarettes, all in my manbag.

9. Decide: tape, cd, vinyl or mp3?

DIGITAL!

10. What do you like to travel with: canoe, tandem or a scooter?

Faster, harder, SCOOTER!

11. Do you own a pink piece of clothing? If you do, what is it?

Rather no clothes, but towels, my whole bathroom is pink you see.

12. What’s your perfect pet?

I keep the spiders alive cause I´ve heard that they eat the other creaps.

13. What are you going to think after this interview?

I have to go see a doctor today, to cure the SARS I got in Japan. Maybe not SARS but God am I sick.

14. Tea or coffee?

I´m a coffeeguy.
